Lamar Odom will not face drug charge

Lamar Odom has one less thing to worry about in his recovery from a drug overdose that took place back in October, as he reportedly will not be charged with any crime stemming from the incident.

According to TMZ, the Nye County District Attorney has decided not to file any charges against Odom for possession of cocaine. Odom could have faced legal trouble after he reportedly tested positive for cocaine and had drugs in his system.

As TMZ notes, it is uncommon for a person who overdoses to be charged with possession.

It’s unclear if Odom is still on the hook for money he supposedly owes the Love Ranch, but avoiding charges should help him in the financial department.

Earlier this month, Odom’s son shared the first photo we have seen of Lamar since he OD’ed nearly three months ago. Odom was recently moved from the hospital to a rehabilitation center, and he recently took some steps on his own. Hopefully his health continues to trend in the right direction.
