LeBron James and Ben Simmons have a whole lot of mutual respect.
All you had to do was check out Instagram to know that, where Simmons and James had nothing but love for each other on Instagram following the Philadelphia 76ers’ 132-130 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Yeah, this won’t do a lot to cool down those LeBron-to-Philly rumors.
In reality, the truth is likely much simpler. James has been mentoring Simmons since he was an amateur, and the two also share an agent. This is healthy mutual respect between two of the game’s stars who also know each other well. Of course, maybe that could work in the Sixers’ favor when James does hit free agency. Who knows?
