LeBron James criticized for going to Diddy’s party after latest Lakers loss

The Los Angeles Lakers were blown out at home by the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, but LeBron James wasn’t about to let another loss spoil his evening plans.

Following a game in which the Raptors led 42-17 at the end of the first quarter en route to a 121-107 win, LeBron was spotted by TMZ pulling up to Diddy’s 49th birthday party in a Rolls Royce with his wife Savannah. Other celebrities who attended the bash in West Hollywood included LL Cool J, Usher and Mary J. Blige.

While we can’t expect LeBron to just cancel his plans every time the Lakers lose, it’s not surprising that fans criticized James after he scored 18 points in a loss against a team that did not have its best player on the floor in Kawhi Leonard.

Is anybody really surprised LeBron hit a Diddy party after last night’s loss? He didn’t move to LA to live like he’s in Cleveland.

LOL and people call this man the GOAT? Come the end of this year he won't even be in the top 5 best players in the league.

Maybe if he cared about winning like a good teammate does, he would hit the gym after a game like that. The thought of Kobe, MJ, Magic, or Bird partying after getting their ass kicked is laughable #NotMyGoat #soft #Lebron #loser

well it clearly hasn’t worked out for him since his team is struggling, maybe instead of partying he could watch some film and work on what he could do better. after all it is his job

The Lakers are off to a 4-6 start in the LeBron era, which is pretty typical for a team that is just learning to play together. The same thing happened when James first joined the Miami Heat and then returned to Cleveland, but we’ve already seen examples of how the pressure in LA is much greater.

Part of the reason LeBron wanted to sign with the Lakers was to live the Hollywood lifestyle, and this won’t be the last time he goes out to a party after losing a game. It also won’t be the last time fans get on his case for it.
