Is LeBron James already bored after winning two championships with the Miami Heat? July is a slow month for NBA players, so I guess now is as good a time as ever to dip your toes into the rap game. LeBron did just that earlier this week, and he posted a couple of audio clips on his Instagram account.
I’ve heard fat white kids in my college dorm lay down better tracks than that, but I’ll give LeBron credit for trying. Stephen Jackson certainly wouldn’t approve, because we know how he feels about other NBA stars trying to work their way into the rap game.
Had LeBron debuted this business before he won a championship, we’d be more likely to criticize him. But winning back-to-back rings pretty much gives you permission to do whatever you want.
