Chicago Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy delivered a blunt assessment of his team’s continuing struggles after they lost to the lowly Orlando Magic on Saturday.
The Bulls have lost three in a row to the Knicks and Magic, and they now sit two games out of the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot. Dunleavy admitted that he simply doesn’t believe the team is good enough.
Dunleavy: "We give off that impression of being beaten down. I don’t think anybody’s giving in. I just don’t think we’re good enough."

Hard to believe that a team that includes Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, and Pau Gasol could be not good enough for the last playoff spot, but Rose isn’t what he once was and Butler and Gasol have battled injuries. Just one glance at Taj Gibson’s recent comments pretty much backs up that the Bulls have issues and look ripe for the taking right now, even by bad teams.
