NBA bans Warriors co-owner Mark Stevens from attending games indefinitely
Golden State Warriors minority investor Mark Stevens was identified as the man who shoved Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night, and the league has already taken disciplinary action against him.
On Thursday, the NBA said in a statement that Stevens’ actions were “unacceptable” and he has been banned from attending any games while an investigation continues.

The Warriors released a similar statement about Stevens condemning his actions, and they also banned him from all team activities.
For clarification, the Warriors have suspended investor Mark Stevens from all team activities, not just the rest of The Finals games.

Lowry said after Game 3 that he hopes the fan who shoved him will be banned from games for life, but the situation has obviously taken an interesting turn with Stevens being a part-owner of the Warriors. It’s an embarrassing situation for Golden State and a story that they did not want to be a part of in the middle of the NBA Finals.
