Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose received love throughout the NBA following his career night in Minnesota.

Rose made the most of the opportunity to start that was presented because of injuries to Tyus Jones and Jeff Teague. Against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, Rose dropped a career-high 50 points.

After the game, Rose was emotional during an interview. He wasn’t the only one overcome with joy as a few of his peers took to social media to express their happiness for Rose.

Every Basketball fan in the world should feel good for DRose. Tonite was an example of never giving up on yourself and when others believe in you. Amazing things can happen. I’m smiling like i scored 50! Congrts to a good dude!

— Chris Paul (@CP3) November 1, 2018

Rose had put a lot of work and effort into returning from several injuries during his career. He has been the subject of jokes from fans over the past few years, but it’s clear he is still very well liked around the league.
