Watch: Derrick Rose gets emotional after scoring career-high 50 points
Derrick Rose turned back the clock on Wednesday, putting up a career-high 50 points in a win over the Utah Jazz.
Rose was thrust into a starting role due to injuries to Tyus Jones and Jeff Teague. He responded with an incredible game, going 19/31 from the field and 8/11 at the line.
He made two free throws at the end of the game and had a key block to help his Minnesota Timberwolves win 128-125.
Rose was incredibly emotional after the win.

When asked in an interview after the game what his career-best effort meant, he said “everything. I worked my a– off.”
Rose’s career has been derailed by injuries and questions about his desire. He has bounced around teams but may be finding a home with Minnesota.
