The Twitter activity of Philadelphia 76ers forward Nerlens Noel has sparked some rumors about him possibly heading to the Boston Celtics.
It all started when Noel tweeted for the first time in months, mentioning his hometown of Boston:
I'm blessed to be from Boston. Love my city.

He then changed his Twitter profile to say “#BostonStrong – Former Kentucky Wildcat – Current Philadelphia 76er!!” He also blacked out his Twitter avatar profile picture, which previously was a photo of him in a 76ers jersey. He also got rid of his Twitter banner which used to be the Philly skyline.
On top of all this Twitter business, CSN New England’s A. Sherrod Blakely reported that Noel is very open to being traded. He also says the Celtics still have high interest in trading for the shot blocking big man.
There have been trade rumors surrounding Noel for months, including one that said the Celtics were targeting him.
Now that Noel has seemingly made his desire known, perhaps a trade will come sooner than later.
