James Harden is no longer a member of the Brooklyn Nets, and it sounds like many of the players on the team are happy about that.
Harden was dealt to Philadelphia in a blockbuster trade deadline deal that sent Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and Andre Drummond to Brooklyn. Curry and Drummond on Monday made their Nets debuts and helped the team to a 109-85 win over the Sacramento Kings.
Bruce Brown had a big game with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals and 3 blocks. He talked with the media after the win and point out how much different things are for the Nets now.

Bruce Brown: "The locker room is just a great vibe in there right now. I don't know what it is. Everything just shifted after the trade deadline." 👀

“The locker room … it’s a great vibe in there right now. I don’t know what it is. Everything just shifted after the trade deadline,” Brown said after the game. “Everybody likes everybody. It’s just great.”
It’s not hard to figure out what the big difference is. Harden is gone. He’s the player who was traded by the team at the deadline. Maybe some with the Nets didn’t like him all along, or maybe some could tell he wasn’t fully committed. We did know that Harden clashed with at least one teammate.
The Nets had lost 11 in a row, have some new players, and finally have broken through for a win. It’s no wonder they feel better.
