Nets’ Dzanan Musa leaks scouting report, playcalls to social media prior to game
Dzanan Musa seemed to have a tiny lapse in judgment before Tuesday’s game.
The Brooklyn Nets wing posted a picture to his Instagram Story of teammate Rodion Kurucs apparently studying some plays ahead of their matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. The problem was that, though the image was flipped horizontally, the heading “Top 5 Play Calls” was visible along with the Pelicans logo and detailed information about certain sets.

The 20-year-old Musa, who has played sparingly for the Nets in his second career NBA season, has since deleted the post.
The scouting sheet mentions Pelicans forward and leading scorer Brandon Ingram specifically, so these would seem to be the top five plays the Pelicans like to run offensively. While team’s plays might not exactly be a big state secret (and while there have been more egregious leaks before in the NBA), this is probably something that Musa could have gone without posting.
