With the Lakers down to the Pistons 97-68 on Sunday, tempers flared after a foul by Anthony Tolliver on Nick Young.
After a steal by Robert Sacre, Nick Young got the ball and raced the other way for a one-handed dunk. However, Anthony Tolliver had other ideas. Tolliver tracked down Young and fouled Young while he was in the air. Young took exception to the foul and shoved Tolliver upon reaching his feet.

Not surprisingly, Young was assessed a flagrant foul type two, which carries a mandatory ejection from the game.
While there was contact from Tolliver on Young, it did not appear to be enough to warrant that kind of reaction from Young, who is having a frustrating December thus far. After playing 12 minutes in the Lakers’ loss to the Sixers on the first of the month, head coach Byron Scott kept Young on the bench for the next two games. Young had only been on the floor for seven minutes prior to his ejection on Sunday. It’s safe to say, this won’t help Nick Young earn more playing time.
