Nike appears to have missed with another logo.
Top NBA draft prospect AJ Dybantsa, formerly of BYU, unveiled his new signature logo for Nike this week. Dybantsa first signed an NIL deal with Nike back in 2024 but has now officially upgraded his agreement with the apparel giant to a pro basketball contract.
The 19-year-old Dybantsa’s logo features his initials “AJD” in the form of a star. Notably, Dybantsa was also nicknamed “Star Boy” by his family growing up.

However, many fans (literally) failed to see the vision and roasted him online over the design. Some users on X commented about how difficult it was to make out Dybantsa’s initials in the logo while others joked that it looked like a Chrysler logo instead.

One user did manage to point out what the thought process was behind Dybantsa’s new logo.

Dybantsa, a 6-foot-9 forward, is expected to go No. 1 overall in the 2026 NBA Draft after a freshman year at BYU in which he averaged a Division I-leading 25.5 points per game and won the Julius Erving Award as the nation’s top small forward. But as for Dybantsa’s new logo, it appears that he went the way of Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers (both of whom have been criticized for their unpopular Nike logo designs as well).
