OJ Mayo has not appeared in an NBA game in over two years, but the former No. 3 overall pick hopes to change that in the near future.
According to Keith Smith of RealGM, Mayo has offers from teams to play overseas but is still hoping to return to the NBA. The 30-year-old spent time working out with NBA players over the summer.

Mayo began his pro career with the Memphis Grizzlies before spending a season with the Dallas Mavericks and three with the Milwaukee Bucks. He has averaged 13.8 points throughout his career, but he never lived up to expectations after testing positive for banned substances multiple times. Mayo was booted from the NBA for two years back in July 2016 for violating the league’s anti-drug program, but he is eligible for reinstatement now.
