Paul George is headed to the NBA Finals … as an analyst.

ESPN announced in a release on Tuesday that the LA Clippers star George will be serving as a guest analyst for them during Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals in Dallas this week. George is set to appear with the rest of the “NBA Countdown” crew on site from American Airlines Center.

The nine-time All-Star George, 34, seems to be priming himself for an eventual career in the media. He launched his own show “Podcast P with Paul George” last year and has produced many great viral moments on there.

While it will be interesting to see George honing his analyst chops on the game’s biggest stage, many are more interested right now in his free-agent situation. The Philadelphia 76ers have been heavily linked to George if he decides to leave the Clippers, and a new East playoff team also recently entered the fray for him.
