One Detroit Pistons player has had just about enough of Jalen Brunson.
Pistons big man Jalen Duren went viral over his profane taunt for the New York Knicks star Brunson during Game 5 of their first-round playoff series at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y. on Tuesday. Brunson hit the deck on a drive to the basket in the first half, and Duren was woefully unamused by it.
“You flopping motherf–ker,” Duren could be seen telling Brunson as he stood over him. Take a look at the video.

The two-time All-Star Brunson’s flopping has been a subject of controversy throughout the series. The Pistons have been very vocal about their belief that Brunson has been selling contact, and indeed Brunson has managed to take some generous trips to the free-throw line over the course of the series.
After averaging a career-high 6.9 free throw attempts a game in the regular season, Brunson entered play on Tuesday having drastically outdone that number against the Pistons. Through the first four games of the series, Brunson has shot 9.0 free throws per contest for a total of 30 points via just foul shots alone.
Duren is not the only Pistons player who is outwardly resentful of the antics by Brunson. One of Duren’s Detroit teammates also made some headlines earlier in the series over his comments shading Brunson for flopping. Brunson has not been doing himself any favors on the other side of the ball either and was widely criticized for an eye-poke on a Pistons player during Game 3 last week.
