
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson III can finally rest easy.
On February 11, Robinson revealed in an Instagram post that his father, Mitchell Robinson Jr., had gone missing in Pensacola, Florida. Two days later, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office put out a press release seeking help in locating the missing endangered adult.
The 39-year-old Robinson Jr. had last been seen on February 11 and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance were unclear. Luckily however, this story has a happy ending.

The Pensacola News Journal reports that Robinson Jr. has been located safely. He was found by the Clayton Police Department in Clayton, Missouri following a routine traffic stop. Upon running his information, it was discovered that Robinson Jr. was considered a missing person.
Robinson Jr. was let off with a verbal warning.
In his fourth season with the Knicks, Robinson III is averaging 8.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
