Rajon Rondo isn’t letting injury stop him from channeling his inner Sal Alosi.

After phenomenal outings in the first two games of the series to help the Bulls jump out to a 2-0 lead, Rondo was announced on Friday to have suffered a fractured thumb that will keep him sidelined indefinitely. But you knew the former All-Star was going to find a way to make sure his presence was still felt, and this is certainly one way of doing that.
It’s also an interesting sidenote that Rondo and Crowder were once traded for each other — Crowder was acquired by the Celtics as a part of the ill-fated deal that sent Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks back in the 2014-15 season. And in case you didn’t get the Alosi reference, here’s a reminder.
