The NBA seems intent on finishing the current season.
San Antonio Spurs CEO RC Buford spoke with reporters over a conference call on Thursday. He said that the NBA’s team presidents are intent on finishing the season.
RC Buford says he just got off call with NBA team presidents.
"Every intention is to return to play."

This matches with the sentiment expressed by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who says they are cautiously optimistic about finishing the season without fans.
There has been no expectation that fans would be able to attend games in the near future. However, just allowing players the opportunity to play and complete the season would be great for the league and for fans who would be able to watch on TV.
Some players are aging and don’t want to lose a chance at a championship while they’re still playing. That is the mentality of LeBron James, who knows he only has a few seasons left to be able to win more rings, and helps explain his eagerness to resume the season.
