Blake Griffin was traded by the Los Angeles Clippers to the Detroit Pistons in a surprising move that few saw coming.
The Clippers entered Monday as a contender for a playoff spot in the West, while the Pistons were a similar contender in the East. The leadership for each team has decided to go a different way.
