Tyrann Mathieu slams D’Angelo Russell on Twitter
The number of people Lakers rookie D’Angelo Russell offended with his videotaping, bro-code-breaking ways isn’t even just confined to the basketball world anymore.
Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, definitely no stranger to social media squabbles, blasted Russell on Twitter Wednesday essentially calling the young guard a fake and comparing him to a Wienerschnitzel menu item.
You ain't real… No matter how much money you make… You a corndog https://t.co/fdjx3I1NRl

Mathieu then continued on a lengthy rant about male honor, respect, and loyalty, qualities he clearly believes Russell to be lacking in.
These dudes couldn't have grew up w me… We don't respect you!!!

It’s a testament to the severity of Russell’s crime in the eyes of the greater sports world, a world where the bond of trust between teammates is a sacred one and where violators of that bond will be swiftly and completely ostracized by all.
The 20-year-old Russell has already lost the support of his own locker room and seen his Wikipedia page defaced for his secret recording of teammate Nick Young supposedly admitting to cheating on his fiancee Iggy Azalea (a video Russell apparently and foolishly thought was a prank that no one would see).
The fallout may only get uglier from here as it looks like Russell has done some truly irreparable damage to his public image.
