Russell Westbrook has gotten into it with numerous fans recently who have taunted him for his struggles, and one of the most recent confrontations took place outside the arena.
The Los Angeles Lakers traveled to Toronto this week for their Friday night game against the Raptors. At some point during their trip, a fan recorded a heated exchange he had with Westbrook on the street. Westbrook took offense to something the fan said to him before the video begins and told the heckler he “ain’t no little kid.” The fan then told Westbrook, “Russell, I f— with you, I just want you to play better.”
You can see the exchange below:

This has become a common theme for Westbrook, who simply cannot seem to ignore his critics. Another video that surfaced this week showed Westbrook confronting a fan before Wednesday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after the fan called him “Westbrick.” You can see that clip here.
Westbrook’s erratic shooting is one of the main reasons the Lakers have struggled this season. Rather using hecklers as motivation, the star point guard has given them exactly what they are looking for.
