The Golden State Warriors missed out on LeBron James, and since then, NBA free agency has been pretty quiet.
On Tuesday, the Warriors added another piece to the roster, this time agreeing to a one-year deal with veteran Georges Niang.

Niang missed all of the 2025-26 regular season due to a foot injury. However, he is an 11-year veteran, and he has a career 40% clip from three-point land, which figures to be an attractive option to add to the Warriors roster.
Niang played college basketball at Iowa State, and he was selected in the second round by the Indiana Pacers in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Niang spent one season with Indiana, then played four seasons with the Utah Jazz, two with the Philadelphia 76ers, and nearly two with the Cleveland Cavaliers before playing the 2024-25 campaign with the Atlanta Hawks.
Niang was part of the three-team deal that sent Kristaps Porziņģis to Atlanta, and Niang ended up going to the Boston Celtics only to be traded to the Utah Jazz shortly after.
Niang was then traded to the Jazz at the recent deadline in the blockbuster move that sent Jaren Jackson Jr. to Utah.
Now, Niang will add another team to his resume, and the Warriors roster appears to be complete after they also signed Brandon Williams earlier on Tuesday.
