Watch: Dwight Howard sings ‘I love LA’ in tunnel after win over Heat
Following a 95-80 victory over the Miami Heat on Friday night at the STAPLES Center, Los Angeles Lakers big man Dwight Howard, who scored just two points on 1-of-2 shooting and a -10 differential, was caught on camera singing “I love L.A.” on his way back to the locker room.

When the Lakers initially signed Howard to a non-guaranteed contract this offseason, the move was met with hefty criticism and skepticism. After all, Howard had fallen off in recent years and was considered relatively washed up, but he’s seen a bit of a resurgence in Los Angeles.
By doing away with his poor diet, Howard is feeling young and spry. And in accepting a reduced role, he’s established himself not only as a team player, but a potential Sixth Man of the Year candidate. And he’s clearly having a blast to this point.
In eight games this season, Howard is averaging 6.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 20.9 minutes.
