Ronda Rousey: Floyd Mayweather can text me when he learns to read

Ronda-Rousey-ESPY

The time has not yet come for Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to call a truce — at least according to the UFC women’s bantamweight champion.

Earlier this week, Rousey fired yet another shot at Mayweather in response to a question that had nothing to do with him. A TMZ reporter had asked Rousey about being the most popular fighter in the UFC but not making as much money as the top-paid men.

“I don’t know if you saw the Floyd thing where he said, ‘When you make $300 million in a night then you can give me a call.’ I actually did the math,” Rousey said. “Given the numbers of my last fight, I’m actually the highest-paid UFC fighter, and I’m a woman. I think I actually make two to three times more than (Mayweather) does per second. … I’m just a little bit more efficient.”

Mayweather always uses his net worth as a trump card, and it was no different when he did it with Rousey. But just a couple weeks ago, Mayweather wished Rousey luck in her future endeavors and seemed like he was trying to squash the beef. Rousey apparently doesn’t care.

“When he learns to read and write he can text me,” she added.

Mayweather has acknowledged in the past that he is not the best reader after 50 cent issued a reading challenge to him.

Rousey seems to genuinely dislike Floyd. She has taken shots at him over his history of domestic violence and is now basically calling him an idiot. We don’t see her opinion changing anytime soon.
