Ronda Rousey: I wonder how Floyd Mayweather feels being beat by a woman
Ronda Rousey edged out four other fighters to take home the Best Fighter ESPY award on Wednesday night. The most notable nominee that Rousey beat out was Floyd Mayweather Jr., and the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion took the opportunity to take a shot at the infamous boxer.
After winning the award, Rousey went at Floyd — HARD.
“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” Rousey said during a live TV interview. “I’d like to see you pretend not to know who I am now.”
BURN.
For those of you who don’t know the history, people like this guy love to speculate about whether Rousey could beat Mayweather in an MMA match. When asked last year how he thought he would fair against Rousey, Mayweather claimed he had no idea who Rousey was.
More recently, Rousey made a great joke about what might happen if she ever dated Mayweather.
Don’t even bother responding, Floyd. It’s not worth it.
