Kyle Busch and members of his team were upset with Chase Briscoe over an incident late in Sunday’s Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway that derailed an excellent day for the No. 19 Chevrolet.
Busch spun out after being squeezed into the wall by Chase Briscoe on Lap 237 of the 267-lap race at Kansas. Busch thought that Briscoe was giving him space to pass through by the wall, but the No. 14 Ford slid up the track just enough to cause Busch to lose control.

Someone on Busch’s radio was not happy afterwards.
“Like I told his spotter, we could’ve drove right through him at Darlington and made both of us lose. … I don’t get it… it’s bulls–t,” Busch’s radio team was heard saying (profanity censored by LBS).
Busch was able to get back in the race, but he finished 19th — hardly what he had envisioned as he led for 26 laps and was in first place late in the race.
The 39-year-old has had two second-place finishes this season but no wins this year. He was hopeful of finally getting a win in the Cup Series, but it didn’t happen.
“I’m numb. I don’t know what to do,” Busch said in an interview with NBC Sports after the race.
