Lando Norris on Sunday won the Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort in North Holland, giving him and McLaren consecutive victories on the F1 circuit. Thanks to the win at the Dutch GP and the Hungarian Grand Prix in July, Norris sits firmly in fourth place in the drivers’ standings with 159 points.
Rounding out the podium on Sunday were Kimi Antonelli in second and George Russell in third. Despite winning the sprint race this weekend, Russell again failed to finish ahead of Antonelli in the race, negating the three-point advantage from the sprint race.
Max Verstappen, who made news this week for renewing his contract with Red Bull through 2030, had an abysmal weekend. In his final home race (the Dutch GP will be dropped from the F1 schedule after 2026), Verstappen spun out on the opening lap, crashed, and was forced to retire from the race.

Liam Lawson, who was demoted to the Racing Bulls last season, had a solid return to Red Bull Racing. Filling in for Isack Hadjar, who is out with an injury, Lawson finished seventh.
Despite a resent surge from Norris and McLaren, Antonelli still sits firmly in first place in the drivers’ standings with 242 points, with both Lewis Hamilton and Russell sitting behind him with 183 points.
11 races remain. If Antonelli is able to consistently finish on the podium and score points, he may be able to wrap up the drivers’ championship sooner than later and unseat Sebastian Vettel as the youngest F1 driver by a fair margin.
