Archie Miller calls Indiana ‘soft’ after blowout loss to Michigan
Archie Miller was critical of his team after an ugly blowout loss to Michigan on Friday night.
Miller’s Hoosiers lost at home 69-46 to fall to 12-8 and 3-6 in conference play. They were down by 15 at the half and continued to fall even further behind in the second half.
After the game, Miller called his team “soft.”

Miller also said his team was “scared” and lacked confidence. He took full responsibility for the team’s failings.
"We're also right now – for whatever reason – scared." -Archie Miller.
"I'm angry about it. I know every guy in that room is. I saw the looks on their faces…. I know." – Juwan Morgan.

Juwan Morgan also called the team’s performance “embarrassing.”
IU put together a string of seven straight wins and went undefeated in December before hitting the harsh reality of January. They have now lost six in a row — two to Michigan, and other defeats to top conference teams Maryland and Purdue. But they also split with Northwestern and lost to Nebraska, which is an indication of how much of a down streak they’re in. Maybe this tough loss will be what they need to turn things around.
