Once expected to be a one-and-done player for Duke, Tre Jones seems to be hinting that he might be thinking otherwise.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Jones teased a potential return for his sophomore year with a very simple caption.
Jones could be trolling, but there is actually some reason to believe he could return for another year. Though he did start 36 games for the Blue Devils, Jones shot just 41 percent from the floor and 26 percent from beyond the arc. Both of those figures could use some work.
Duke would almost certainly welcome Jones back excitedly. They’re going to be losing a lot of freshman talent, so to keep one of their key contributors would be a big deal.
