Former Wisconsin players blast NCAA after Badgers pull upset
Wisconsin was all about puffing out their chests after knocking off defending champion Villanova on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Following the Badgers’ 65-62 win over the Wildcats, a couple of former Wisconsin stars took shots at the NCAA Tournament selection committee for slighting the team with an 8-seed, which many felt was too low.
Selection committee….. haha

Wassup now @NCAA ??

Kaminsky was particularly vocal about Wisconsin’s low seeding and sent some tweets about it last weekend (read them here).
The selection committee didn’t really seem to know what to do with the Big Ten’s schools and just gave them seeds right in the middle of the pack, with Purdue the highest at a four. Their biggest mistake was handing Minnesota a five-seed. Aside from the Gophers and Maryland, the conference has enjoyed success. Not only did Wisconsin advance to the Sweet 16, but Michigan State, Michigan, Purdue and Northwestern all got 1st-round wins.
Wisconsin is really feeling itself after the win. In addition to these players, the school itself trolled Villanova.
