Watch: John Beilein gets ejected from Michigan-Penn State game
Michigan Wolverines head coach John Beilein was ejected from Tuesday night’s game at Penn State after getting two technical fouls just after the first half ended.
Nittany Lions guard Rasir Bolton made a shot just before the half ended to put Penn State up 40-27. Beilein may have been protesting not whether the shot should have counted, but a harsh screen on Zavier Simpson. He talked with an official on the sideline and was given one technical, grew even more upset and kept at it, and then was called for a second technical.
Things are not going as planned for Michigan in Happy Valley.

Here’s the screen that likely had Beilein upset:
I am guessing the screen on Simpson is what set Beilein off. Looked like a bit of embellishment from Zavier if you ask me. pic.twitter.com/Fj0j1mraVe

Penn State got four free throws to start the second half due to the double techs.
Beilein is usually one of the more composed coaches in college basketball, so seeing him get tossed was a big surprise, almost as big as seeing his Wolverines down 13 at the half to woeful Penn State.
