
Recent events in college basketball have raised the question of whether college athletes should be paid, and Lonzo Ball is on board with that idea.
The Los Angeles Lakers guard and former UCLA star knows it’s an open secret that college athletes are taking money, and it just makes sense to legalize payments.
Lonzo Ball, should NCAA players be paid? “I do. All the money they generate for the programs & stuff, it’s kind of an unfair system…Everybody knows everybody’s getting paid & that’s how it is. Everybody’s getting paid anyway. You might as well make it legal. That’s how I feel."

Ball’s thoughts will definitely be met with some support in the basketball community. That said, such a policy would help undermine one of his father’s business ventures, so it’s a mixed bag.
