Wife of Jim Boeheim robbed at gunpoint in mall parking lot

Juli Boeheim, the wife of Syracuse Orange basketball coach Jim Boeheim, was robbed at gunpoint in a mall parking lot on Tuesday.

Syracuse.com reports that Boeheim was sitting in her car near the Cheesecake Factory entrance at Destiny USA, a shopping mall in Syracuse. She was approached by a youth who made conversation with her. The youth then pointed a gun at her and reached inside her car and stole her purse.

The young man then made off with two others in a vehicle that was reported to be stolen.

Juli, 55, is said to have been unharmed.

Jim and Juli have been married since 1997.
