
Credit Ameer Abdullah for saving Nebraska from embarrassment on Saturday.
The Huskers were tied with McNeese State 24-24 late in the game and facing the prospect of losing to a cupcake. Luckily Abdullah made a game-breaking play.
The senior running back caught a pass from Tommy Armstrong Jr. and broke about five tackles before breaking free for a 58-yard touchdown to win it.


Abdullah only rushed for 54 yards on 17 carries, but his 96 receiving yards and two TDs were huge for the team. Full video below.
