Braxton Miller reportedly interested in transferring to LSU

Braxton-Miller

Braxton Miller is one of the biggest names on the transfer rumor mill as we make our way toward the college football offseason, and LSU is reportedly looking to upgrade at the quarterback position. You know where this is going.

According to Steve Schneider of WAFB, there is a “likely scenario” where Miller could end up transferring to LSU. A separate report from 247Sports.com indicates that Miller and LSU have “mutual interest” in one another. Miller has already graduated from Ohio State and would be eligible to play for any other school right away as a graduate school transfer.

At this point, it would be fairly surprising if Miller did not transfer. He has one year of eligibility remaining and would have to fight for a starting job at Ohio State after the emergence of both JT Barrett and Cardale Jones. If Jones leads the Buckeyes to a national championship, it would be hard to imagine Urban Meyer stripping him of his starting job.

It should be noted that Miller has also expressed interest in transferring to Duke and previous rumors have linked him to Oregon. On Monday, a report indicated that Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson could transfer to LSU.

One thing’s for sure — it would be impossible for all of these rumors to come to fruition.
