Dabo Swinney’s brother arrested for harassing estranged wife
Dabo Swinney is dealing with a bit of negative media attention leading up to the national championship game on Monday — but it’s not due to his own doing.
Swinney’s brother, Henry “Tripp” Swinney III, was arrested Tuesday for aggravated stalking. Swinney is dealing with his estranged wife, who told him in early October she was going to file for divorce. He was served with an injunction against domestic violence, and his acts after the fact violated that injunction. She accuses Swinney of continuing to text and send naked pictures of her.
Swinney allegedly left multiple threatening voicemails to her each night. An arrest warrant was issued for him, and he was taken into custody this week. He was held on $15,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned next month, the Panama City News Herald reports.
