Saturday’s affair between Michigan and Michigan State has been a rainy, messy affair without much quality on either side. However, the Wolverines managed to produce a key moment that could be the key to a potential victory.
With the game tied at 7-7 in the third quarter, Shea Patterson managed to find wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones for a 79-yard touchdown down the sideline.

It was a moment of excellence in a game that has been sorely lacking in it. After all, this contest produced one of the worst kicks of the season. Given the Spartans’ total lack of offense in this one, that touchdown could well be enough for Michigan to secure the victory.
