The Tulane Green Wave might’ve just won the award for the best uniform of the year, and the season hasn’t even started yet.
On Wednesday, Tulane revealed new “City Edition” uniforms with a Mardi Gras theme.

The uniforms include plenty of notable features. It has the word “UPTOWN” on the helmet, which is a tribute to the parade route for Mardi Gras.
There are also beads hanging from the first and last letters of each player’s name on the jersey. After the uniforms were shown, fans loved what they saw.

Tulane will wear the uniforms in Week 2 against South Alabama, and even that drew attention from fans due to the Mardi gras history between those programs.
