Bowl-themed celebrations are apparently a thing this season, as Ohio coach Frank Solich found out Friday.
Solich’s team won the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, and his team celebrated the victory in appropriate fashion — by dousing him with french fries instead of Gatorade.

While Solich doesn’t look exceptionally thrilled, he certainly takes it in stride, even eating a few of the fries.
This is definitely becoming a trend. It comes days after Arizona State’s Herm Edwards got a Frosted Flakes shower at the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, and you can bet other sponsors are taking note and wondering what they can do to up the ante next year.
As for the Bobcats, their 30-21 win over Nevada caps off a 7-6 season, and it marks their third consecutive season with a bowl victory.
