Watch: Hawaii runs perfect fake kneeldown play before halftime
Hawaii must have watched film on Tulane from last week, because they executed the same trick play a week later.
The Warriors were leading Nevada 28-3 with the ball at their 29 and 24 seconds left in the half. They set up like they were going to kneel down and run out the clock before halftime. Instead, they faked the kneeldown and ran to the left for 29 yards to the Nevada 42.

What a play! It was a replica of the one Tulane used to beat Houston.
Hawaii ended up kicking a 42-yard field goal to increase their lead to 31-3.
Teams better start preparing for the fake kneeldown play, because it’s awesome. It’s also really hard to stop!
