Houston somehow pulled out a win over Memphis on Saturday to remain undefeated in Luke Fickel’s inaugural campaign, and the school decided to take advantage of a perfect promotional opportunity.
The Cougars, once down 20-0 and later 34-14 in the fourth quarter, scored three straight touchdowns to end the game and win 35-34. The victory made them 10-0 on the season, which was something they boasted about after the game. They sent a fitting tweet that not only bragged about their record, but also took a swipe at Baylor, which lost its first game in a defeat to Oklahoma Saturday night:
