Florida State had a touchdown reversed in the second quarter of the Rose Bowl after referee’s determined Jameis Winston’s knee was down prior to crossing the goal line.
The Seminoles made a gutsy decision to go for it on 4th-and-goal from the 1-yard line down 8-3 against Oregon Thursday. They ran an option and Winston kept the ball. He dived for the end zone but a review determined that his knee was down before the ball crossed the plane. The result was Oregon maintaining their 8-3 lead and taking over possession.
