QB Jarren Williams benched by Miami in favor of N’Kosi Perry
The Miami Hurricanes have a very real quarterback problem.
After starter Jarren Williams threw three first-quarter interceptions against the Virginia Tech Hokies, coach Manny Diaz pulled him in favor of N’Kosi Perry.
Miami makes the quick move at QB. N'Kosi Perry is in for Jarren Williams, who threw three INTs already in this first quarter.

A redshirt freshman and four-star recruit, Williams hadn’t thrown a pick before Saturday, then threw three in one quarter. He had won the job in preseason, but this throws the rest of the season into some chaos.
Perry was Miami’s regular starter for much of 2018 before losing his job toward the end of the season. He threw 13 touchdowns and six interceptions in 11 games, but completed a modest 50.8 percent of his passes. It’s not clear that he’s the answer either.
