Jim Harbaugh denies NFL rumors after Michigan bowl loss
Jim Harbaugh will always be plagued by NFL rumors as long as he’s at Michigan, even after his team loses a bowl game.
The Wolverines blew a 19-3 lead in an Outback Bowl loss to South Carolina, and after the game, Harbaugh was left to face questions about not only that collapse, but his coaching future.
As you would expect, Harbaugh threw cold water on suggestions that he’d just coached his last game at Michigan.

Despite suggestions of underachievement, Michigan still loves Harbaugh enough to make rumors like this one plausible. He’ll get linked to NFL jobs, but the talk seems fanciful, and there’s no real indication he’s open to any of it.
