Jim Mora files for divorce from wife Shannon
Jim Mora and his wife Shannon announced back in June that they had separated, and the UCLA football coach has officially filed for divorce.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ this week, Mora is citing irreconcilable differences in the filing. Jim and Shannon have four kids together, and Jim is seeking joint custody of the two children who are under age 18. TMZ notes that Mora offered to pay spousal support and Shannon’s attorney’s fees, which is typically indicative of an amicable split.
Mora is among the top-30 highest-paid coaches in college football this season with a salary of just under $3.5 million, so he is likely doing just fine financially.
If Mora acts at home the way he admits he acts while he coaches, he probably isn’t that easy of a guy to live with.
