Jimbo Fisher yells at Jameis Winston to back off, let him coach (Video)

Jimbo Fisher

Jimbo FisherJimbo Fisher had some tension with Jameis Winston during Florida State’s 37-35 win over Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship Game on Saturday.

At two separate points in the game, TV cameras showed Fisher yelling at Winston to tell his quarterback to let the coach do the coaching.

The video above came after the Seminoles took a timeout in the second quarter. Fisher could be heard yelling, “let me coach this offense!” at his quarterback.

Later in the game, it was more of the same. Fisher could be seen saying to Winston, “let me call the game!”:

Winston is a heck of a player — and he is said to be very smart on the field — but Jimbo still wants to remind his player who is the boss. Given Fisher’s success at FSU, it’s hard to argue with him being the one to call the shots over his Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback.
