Report: 4-star LB de-commits from Ohio State
The issues surrounding the Ohio State football program may have cost them one of their recruits.
Kane Patterson, a 4-star linebacker from Tennessee, has de-committed from Ohio State, according to two reports. The first report came on a game broadcast:

Cleveland.com’s Tim Bielik says they were able to confirm the de-commitment.
Patterson, who is part of the 2019 recruiting class, had committed to the Buckeyes on July 9. He has scholarship offers from many top programs, including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Oklahoma, Stanford and Tennessee.
News of Patterson’s de-commitment comes two days after Ohio State announced a three-game suspension for head coach Urban Meyer.
