Les Miles makes appearance at Michigan tailgate
What’s Les Miles up to these days on his unwanted sabbatical from coaching? Visiting his alma mater, of course.
The former LSU coach and one-time Michigan offensive lineman and assistant popped up in Ann Arbor on Saturday, and he even brought his Michigan gear with him.

Miles offered a few comments on his future, too, saying he only wants to coach at a school that can win a title.
“I have no idea, I have to be honest,” Miles told Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News when asked if he would be coaching somewhere in 2017. “I can tell you this: I’m looking for a school, an AD, a president that wants to invest in their kids and lock arms and go win a championship.”
Miles has a bit of free time these days, so it makes sense that he’d stop by for Michigan’s game against Indiana. He probably will be back coaching somewhere next year, so he might as well take the opportunity when he can.
Of course, if you’re bored, this probably won’t stop you from coming up with Les Miles-Michigan rumors based on this story. Have at it. It’s not happening, but have fun.
