Report: Les Miles reviewing potential coordinators ahead of 2017 season
Les Miles is already looking towards getting back into coaching.
The former LSU coach is already assessing potential offensive and defensive coordinators for a potential 2017 return to the coaching ranks, sources told ESPN’s Brett McMurphy.
Miles reportedly has already been contacted about coaching, though he isn’t committed to anything yet.
Miles has also reportedly been tweaking his coaching philosophy as he waits for next year, looking at more dynamic offenses like that at Baylor as opposed to the run-heavy system he used at LSU.
“Since getting fired at LSU, Les has really had an epiphany on how he needs to open up offensively at his next stop,” a source told McMurphy. “He is committed to it.”
Miles has shown absolutely no indication of slowing down since being fired by LSU. Expect him to coach somewhere in 2017, and it’ll probably be a fairly high-profile job.
